The male choir was founded in March 2003.  Its appearance was necessitated by opening of a chapel in honour of St. John the Forerunner where an early liturgy has been performing every Sunday.

From the beginning it was a quartet but due to the growth of the number of parishioners there appeared more choristers. By 2006 the number of singers had grown to 18 people. The members of the first staff are still the foundation of the choir.

Since many wanted to listen to the choir not only in the church but to have the opportunity to listen to it at home, the first professional recording was made and the choir got its name „AXIOS“.

The male choir participates in churh sacraments and rites as well as in social and cultural events of the parish.
